Searching for descendants of Jesse Horn

I posted this message on the ‘memories’ forum, but realised that it might be seen by more people in this section; Here’s
hoping.
Does anyone recall the Horn family? My mother was engaged to Jesse Horn during the war, though their plans were
thwarted by my Grandmother who disapproved of the match. I would like to retrurn some family photos to his
descendants, or even his sisters – he certainly had two younger sisters at home. He was in the navy and continued in the service after the war ended. Some of the photos are of him on his ship – a real bit of wartime history.

I cannot find a birth for Jesse in Whitstable. I don’t suppose you have any dates, birth etc?

Sadly, there is no-one left in my family to provide any details, but Jesse must have been in his mid – twenties in about
1942. Hope that helps.

Lorna, I hope your still around after a year but my wife only discovered this forum yesterday.
Jesse Horn was my great uncle, brother to my grandmother who has passed away recently. Myself and a cousin of my
father are both researching the Horn family, she is Jesse’s niece by his brother, and would love to have the photos if
they are still available.
