1084558441"Re(1): Norman and Jane Philpott Posted on 14/5/2004 at 19:14:01 by Deb Hi, can you help with a name? Jane Rigden married James John Philpott (I've got this cert). Jane and Norman Philpott's birth cert show father is James John Philpott. but Jane Philpott's marriage cert shows her father is Alfred James Philpott. This is odd, either Jane got her fathers name wrong (odd) or her mother remarried another Philpott, maybe his brother (weird). If you (or anyone) do know anything about this family line can you let me know, I've looked for James John and Alfred James on 1881 census thingy but I'm getting more and more lost.
